Defying common expectation, the Fast & Furious franchise is as popular with female audiences as it is with males. While there are many factors that contribute to this dynamic, the most unique to F&F is the influence of strong, independent central female characters who drive franchise storylines in equal measure to the men... and, quite frankly, kick ass.
